Marvel is coming up with a S.H.I.E.L.D. television series is what was announced, and surely enough, we have here, some amazing pics of the series.
Agent Coulson will helm the young SHIELD agents, whilst dealing with national security. Joss Whedon will be directing the pilot, and it'll be a blast as it will guest star Agent Maria Hill (Cobie Smulders) and may feature Nick Fury (Samuel Jackson) as well. Nothing has been mentioned about whether any character's from the marvel universe will be seen in and around the series or not...
Also, as questions were raised because Coulson was killed in The Avengers, how he survived and all... Joss Whedon said, the series will answer all the questions...
