X-Men: Days of the future past

For those who came in late, this is the title of the sequel to the hit 'X Men: First Class'. First Class was based on a comic book of the same name, and so is this.

The beautiful thing is how they are connecting these movies with the previous Bryan Singer X-Men trilogy, and the recently released 'Wolverine' directed by James Mangold. The storyline seems to be turning towards how the original X-Men had started off - against Mutant killing machines called as Sentinels.

In this post I'll be mentioning what we should expect from this movie. If you don't like spoilers Now is the time to stop reading!

Wise Choice - OK! Here goes:

X-Men: First Class described:

• Charles, Eric, and Mystique's relations
• Introductions to & Origins of - Emma Frost, Havok, Azarael, Beast, Angel, Tornado & Banshee. 
• Rivalry with Humans, and division of mutants into groups

X-Men trilogy described:

• Charles and Eric's rivalry
• Introduced mutants and their rivalries and fights, government concerns, etc.
• Mutants taking sides for good and for evil
• X Men - Cyclops, Rogue, Storm, Pr. X, Shadowcat, Iceman, Beast, Colossus, Archangel, Nightcrawler, Jean Grey, Pyro, etc.
• Brotherhood of Mutants - Mystique, Magneto, Sabretooth, Toad, Juggernaut, etc.
• Cure for Mutants
• Enmity between the world and the mutants.
• Death of Charles, Jean, and Cyclops
• A Sentinel's head appears alongside Wolverine during the mutant battle in the third movie

X-Men Origins: Wolverine described:

• Origins of - Wolverine/Logan, Sabretooth, Stryker, Gambit, Deadpool, 
• Weapon X Program,
• Featured - Charles, Cyclops, Emma Frost, Quicksilver, Wraith, Blob, Bradley, Agent Zero, Silverfox.

The Wolverine described:

• Japan origins of Wolverine
• Introduced: Silver Samurai, Viper, Harada, Black Ninja Clan, &Yukio.
• Return of Charles & Eric together, warning about an upcoming threat

What does all of this tell you?

Try reading what I think all this means:
01. Charles regenerates and is alive
02. The threat is so big that Charles and Eric have had to team up
03. X-Men and Brotherhood will fight side by side
04. McAvoy and Patrick Stewart; and Fassbender and McKellen may come face-to-face
05. Trask Industries and their Sentinels (mutant killer giant robots)
06. Bishop - Maybe he'll time travel and tell the first class x men about the future from the original X Men trilogy, similar to the comic books
07. A destroyed future where all mutants have been killed and some fight for survival
08. Flashbacks to character origins?
09. Wolverine+Collossus' Fastball Special move?
10. Stryker or Jason - will they return?
11. Are Scott & Jean dead? Will they be resurrected?
12. Return of the original trilogy cast
13. Mutants, mutants, and more mutants!
14. First Class+Trilogy X Men+Brotherhood
15. What about the mutant cure?
16. Scarlet Witch & the Hex Magic - Wonder how it'll turn out
17. Quicksilver and his super speed
18. X-Men evolution cast - Scarlet, Quicksilver, Avalanche, Toad, Blob
19. Should we expect a Summers Family encore - Cable, Rachel, Havok, Vulcan, Madelyne Pyror, Stryfe, & Nate
20. Can Mr. Sinister be a part of this too?
21. Mutants - Blink, Sunspot, and Warpath
22. Since 20th Century Fox holds the rights to Marvel's mutants, we can expect any and everything ;)
23. No Spiderman - Since it is owned by Sony

Any of this may be played out well together, or individually, or - this may be happening in the upcoming sequels or something....

Speculations galore:

01. Now, Scarlet Witch and Quicksilver are already in 'Avengers: Age of Ultron'.
02. Can we expect a 'Avengers vs. X-Men' movie after the Age of Ultron, since Vin Diesel mentioned about a studio crossover in the future?
03. If that happens, where does that leave 'Wonderman'?
04. Also, since an 'X-Force' movie is in talks, Cable may be included to start it all off!
05. There is also a brief scope for the 'Inhumans' if the studio wants.
06. But, if they do, then there is also a scope for the much talked about 'Fantastic Four' Reboot!
07. Who will appear in the end-credits/mid-credits scene?
08. Which will be the third movie, in this trilogy?
09. Can we expect more mutant movies?
10. Will Fox finally move on it's path of providing Origin stories for mutants just like the scrapped 'Magneto: Origins' movie?


So much for a movie... I know... Right?
