iMovieCritic #2

The purpose of a movie, according to me is to entertain the audience, excite it, humor it, make it feel as if the audience is a part of the movie! That is what movies have to be about, and most of them are about it!
If you keep in mind, the statistics, a director's particular style, and actor's ability to act, or even a writers calibre, then I think you should not watch a movie!

And, if you take someones word for it... 'meh! Nothing can help you!

Every director, writer, actor, musician, etc. is an artist in a sense. They want to do something new everytime they make a movie or anything else, and tend to surpass what is expected of them. Everyone wants to get better, then why shouldn't or can't these guys get any better?

The biggest example that I can think of is the news about Heath Ledger being cast as the joker. There was chaos, when he was declared to play the iconic role of Joker in 'The Dark Knight Rises'. Everyone criticised and wrote abusive posts, comments and tweets about this. When the movie came out, this guy nailed it! Perhaps THE BEST JOKER the world will ever see! I still remember people who did not see this movie, simply because Heath was cast. After the movie was a super hit, everyone flocked to the theatres. Those same so called 'critics' appreciated his work, and he was even awarded an oscar award for that. But, what's the point, the guy died before the movies' release.

So, All I'm saying is:
THINK before you leap,
Ponder before you criticise,
Watch movies for fun,
And Keep an open mind!
